Courses Offered:

Photography 101 - Learn the Basics (1 day)  - $100 per person 
Aimed at those photographers who have just started taking photographs or those who have been doing it a while and want to make more of it. The course covers the basics of photography including composition, understanding exposure, capturing the action and much more. Participants spend the morning in the classroom learning the basics before spending the afternoon putting the theory into practice.

Making the most of your new Digital SLR (2 days) - $250 per person 
Aimed at those photographers who have just made the big move to a Digital SLR and want to make the most of it. The course covers the basics of SLR operation, using the ‘creative zone’ to maximum advantage and explores the manual functions. Participants get the opportunity to shoot a wide range of subject matter in a variety of locations. Participants must bring their own digital SLR

The Family Way - shooting creative family portraits (1 day) - $150 per person 
A full day course aimed at those photographers who want to shoot better family photos. The course covers composition, posing and candid vs posed imagery and much more. The morning is spent in the classroom before spending the afternoon on location shooting creative portraiture. Participants must bring their own camera’s but will also have the opportunity to shoot with high-end digital SLRs

Wedding Essentials - learn some tips from a Pro (1 day) - $250 per person 
A full day course aimed at those photographers who have made a commitment to shoot a friend or family member’s wedding and want to make sure they do a good job. The course will discuss the do’s and don’ts of wedding photography, what are the essential moments of the day and how to capture them, how to shoot ‘candidly’ and much much more. The morning is spent in the classroom before spending the afternoon on location shooting a model bride. Participants must bring their own digital SLRs.

All courses are based at our Studio in Placid Hills and include lunches on course dates.
